Obituary of DOT WEEDE Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 13, 1996 Dorothy "Dot" Webb Weede, 72, of 401 W. Second Ave., died July 12, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Weede was a native of South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Ralph Sewell and Laura Todd Webb. She was the widow of Jesse Ambrose Weede Jr. Mrs. Weede had retired as a secretary at Union Camp Corp. She was a founding member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church and was currently a member of the High Street United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer at the East Pavilion. She is survived by a daughter, Joan W. Vaughan of Franklin; two sisters, Glenna W. Pierce of Midlothian and Lucille W. Draper of Christiansburg; three brothers, Ralph S. Webb Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., James H. Webb of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Carlyle Webb of Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren, Crystal F. Vaughan, Susan N. Vaughan, J. Andrew Vaughan III, Victoria M. Vaughan and Shannon A. Vaughan. The graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Revs. Edward Johnson, James Lambeth and Randy Wooden officiating.
